Deploying AI where real work happens — and writing down what I learn on the way.

Forward Deployed Engineer · twenty years across luxury retail, operations and technology, between the Chinese and European business worlds

Now / 此刻

Deploying AI in real businesses

Not in a lab. On factory floors, in client offices, inside workflows that existed long before AI did — local models, cloud models, and the judgment about which task belongs where.

Leading the Me+AI community

Helping Chinese-speaking professionals in Europe put AI to work in their own businesses and lives.

Building the bridge

Project work connecting Chinese and European markets — from the China Foods Alliance and the first China Foods Guide to a consulting practice for European companies entering China.

The red thread / 红线

Twenty years, two worlds, one line through all of it.

Hospitality, learned the hard way

From Guangxi University to a restaurant traineeship at Zürich Airport, then catering sales in Shenzhen — and a Swiss hotel management diploma earned in Vitznau, on the lake I now call home.

Operations at scale, at Jones Lang LaSalle

Responsible for a 20,000 m² portfolio and 400 people across Guangzhou and Xiamen — in my twenties.

Seven years at Cartier — where I quietly became an engineer

Hired to sell high jewelry; over CHF 1 million in annual sales. But I also became the boutique's key user for SAP and DARE, the troubleshooter for every IT problem, and the one who built its digital projects — Alipay, go-in-store, a registration system I designed myself. Forward deployment, before I knew the word.

Tiffany & Co., then Buccellati

The craft of trust, practiced at the highest level of luxury retail — opening a new boutique from an empty room.

The line becomes the work

Project management at mybow, a photography practice built from zero (photoetmoi.ch — which taught me what a perfect website can't do), the Me+AI community, and AI deployment in real businesses. Everything the line passed through, finally in one place.

GIA: Jewelry · Diamonds · Colored Stones   Advanced Diploma, Hotel & Tourism Management, DCT Vitznau   Guangxi University   Off the clock: snowboarding, jewelry design, and the slow repair of broken ceramics

What it taught me / 路上学到的

Every room taught me a different language.

Clients who could buy anything taught me that trust is the only product. Cartier · Tiffany · Buccellati
Being the person who fixes the system teaches you more than owning the title ever would. SAP · DARE · Adyen · every broken printer
A perfect website with no audience is a beautiful, empty room. Build the audience first. photoetmoi.ch
I work in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and German. Translation is my real job — between languages, and between worlds. Four languages, one job
Writing / 在写

Notes from the road, written while walking it.

I'm walking this path in public.
If it's a road you're curious about — walk along.
